Here’s a look into our process.
Interior design is made up of a million little details and decisions (layouts, fabrics, finishes, furniture, orders, construction, project management, deliveries).
You won’t be the first if you come to us overwhelmed with ideas, concepts, and inspiration photos, or maybe you don’t even know where to begin. This is why we set our interior design services within a concise, creative process. This allows us to get to the root of who you are so we can create a home that complements your lifestyle, without overwhelming you with the many exciting, yet intricate layers of interior design.
The most valuable part is a design that won’t just fit your life, but will be made for your life.
LOCAL + IN-PERSON SERVICES

We’ll start with a 15-minute phone consultation to learn about your project, get to know each other, and see if it’s a good fit.
From there, we can schedule an on-site consultation to review your space — the first step in a custom interior design project OR this can be a standalone meeting for quick design insights (‘Designer For A Day’ consultation).
For full-service projects, this time is best used to ask questions, talk through the project scope, budget, style, and review any existing architectural plans. After this meeting we will be able to develop a proposal and contract for our design fees and identify deliverables for your project.
(Deliverables may include design concept boards, floorplans, elevations, renderings, material samples, lighting, hardware and plumbing schedules, furniture layouts, and art selections. )

After you accept our proposal and the contract is signed, you’ll fill out a very detailed client questionnaire to identify the style and details of your project. This informs our design decisions and the direction of the project.
We’ll then begin work with a kickoff design meeting where we will further hone-in on your style, design ideas, measurements and any other details required for us to design your space.

Now we can use the collected details and design goals to start gathering inspiration through photos to create a project mood board presentation that will ensure the design direction is agreed upon before we begin the final design process.
We will put together your final design presentation that includes selections and layouts. (This may include any needed revisions.)

Depending on the scope of your project, from there, Two Story Studio can manage coordination with contractors, cabinet makers and sub-contractors, procurement, receiving, storage and white glove delivery.
This may also include all furnishing installation and final styling OR a staging and photography session to add your new beautiful space to our portfolio.

You'll book your service from the convenience of your home. You will receive our welcome package by email, including our custom project questionnaire suited to the service you booked.
From there, we may schedule a Zoom call or begin work from the information we have received from you.

Now we can use the collected details and design goals to start putting together the deliverables for your selected package. (Colour Consultation, EDesign, etc.)
(Deliverables may include: Moodboards, floorplans, shopping lists, 3D renders, etc.)

Depending on the scope of your project, from there, Two Story Studio will put together your individualized package and deliver it to your email.
At this point your project is complete and you can begin putting your custom design plans in place at your own pace and as your budget allows, making online + virtual services a great option for the budget-conscious.
